I do love to DIY (DImyself?) as much as possible for any occasion and my recent wedding was no exception. Here is an image of our handmade table plan propped up on a perfectly shabby easel (provided by the perfectly shabby venue). It was really simple to make – I took an old, ornate frame sourced from Freecycle, sprayed the existing canvas black (the picture was dire so I don’t feel bad), strung some brown parcel string across the canvas then attached the Kraft paper table lists with pretty, tiny pegs from Hobbycraft. We then used the same format for the place and table names to tie the whole thing together. The guests all loved it and commented on what a lovely, unique and personal touch it brought to our day. We are also planning on using the same paper, font etc on our handmade thank you cards!
